Basiswissen

Fußnoten

  • [1] Bedeutung nach Feynman: "whenever there is a flow of energy in any circumstance at all (field energy or any other kind of energy), the energy flowing through a unit area per unit time, when multiplied by 1/c², is equal to the momentum per unit volume in the space. In the special case of electrodynamics, this theorem gives the result that g is 1/c² times the Poynting vector: [g = S:c²]. So the Poynting vector gives not only energy flow but, if you divide by c², also the momentum density." In: Feynman, Richard P., Robert B. Leighton, and Matthew Sands.
