Eshel Ben-Jacob (1952 bis 2015) war ein israelische Physiker. Sein vorrangiges Forschungsinteresse war die Erforschung kollektiver Intelligenz, zum Beispiel bei Bakterien und Insekten, später auch für Finanzmärkte. Ben-Jacob hat eine sehr große Anzahl von Fachveröffentlichungen geschrieben (siehe die Fußnoten unten).
