• Ein messingfarbener Leistungswiderstand mit einer Leistung von maximal 50 Watt. Dabei wird der Widerstand deutlich spürbar sehr heiß.
  

• Die Aufschrift: Dale RH-50 50W 10 Ohm 1% Mexico MI53I.
  

• Der Widerstand wiegt 27,1 Gramm, bei einer Länge über alles von 7 cm.
  

• Der Hauptkörper ohne Sockel ist 5 cm lang, 1,5 cm breit und etwa 1,5 cm hoch.
  

• Laut Herstellerangabe (Vishay Dale) ist das Gehäuse aus Aluminium.
  

• Kern: je nach Widerstand: Kupfer-Nickel oder Nickel-Chrom-Legierung
  

• Bei 20 Volt fließen rund 2 Ampere, der Körper wird so heiß, dass man ihn nicht lange anfassen kann.
