- Kondensschwaden können sich unterhalb des Kondensationsniveaus nicht halten.
- Man sieht eine gut ausgebildete Hauptwolkenuntergrenze (ceiling) in größerer Höhe. Darunter sieht man die Nebelschwaden des Kraftwerkes Weisweiler bei Eschweiler im Rheinland. Unterhalb des Kondensationsniveaus können sich die Schwaden nicht als Nebel halten und werden wieder zu unsichtbarem Wasserdampf. Die Aufnahme entstand vom Westende Aachens aus, die Blickrichtung ist in etwa nach Osten Richtung Köln.
